The TropaTipid story

About TropaTipid

Households need everyday essentials—not a wholesaler’s worth of storage space. TropaTipid is a neighborhood group-buy club that lets families combine small shares into one bulk order.

Small Shares. Big Tipid.

Our idea builds on ambagan: neighbors pooling their buying power. A buyer can join for a little rice, invite others from a group chat, and help fill the order that unlocks the group price.

Starting Close to Home

Our launch plan starts with rice, one supplier, and a sari-sari store pickup partner in a single community. Cooking oil, toiletries, and school supplies are on the roadmap.

What to Expect

A clear deal total with the service fee included, a shared order target, and an agreed local pickup point. When a deal fills, buyers pay via GCash or Maya and collect their own shares. Prices and availability depend on each supplier and group order.

Built for the Tropa

Parent chats, barangay groups, workplaces, and neighbors can all bring people together. Sari-sari stores can take part as pickup partners. Our goal is simple: make neighborhood buying easier to organize and repeat.
